Unless you're saying that all Germans are into dictatorships, because some 60-odd years ago, Nazis ruled our country (wich would be one hell of an insult!), you mixed up the two German states that co-existed up until 1990. West Germany, aka the Federal Republic of Germany, was a democratic state with close ties to England, France an the USA. East Germany on the other hand came close to what we would commonly refer to as a dictatrship.
